No, you are reserving a general parking space within the car park or parking area you selected. We guarantee that a space will be available for you, but it is not assigned to a specific spot.
Of course, you do not need to enter the parking facility at the exact minute stated in your reservation. However, in order to plan our shuttle service efficiently for you, we kindly ask that you arrive as close as possible to your reserved entry time. This allows us to provide you with the best possible service.
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email along with a QR code or voucher for entry.
Please first check your inbox and spam folder, as the confirmation email may have been automatically placed there. If you still can't find it, please send an email with your reservation number and the email address used for booking to service(at)parkita.de. If you don’t know your reservation number, please include your full name, booking period, and the parking area you reserved.
Yes, you will receive a parking ticket upon entry after scanning the QR code. You can pay the parking fees before picking up your car, easily using an EC or credit card at the ticket machine. Of course, you can also pay in cash – no problem at all!
As part of our service commitment at the PSD BANK DOME, we aim to provide our shuttle service to you as promptly as possible. Even in the case of delayed arrivals after your trip, we want to ensure you receive the best possible assistance. That's why we require this information.
Your data will only be used to process your reservation request and the subsequent parking process.
A one-time rebooking of your reservation is possible free of charge. However, the reservation fee already paid will remain and will not be refunded. Rebooking can be done up to 24 hours before the planned start of parking. You can change the date, parking zone, or the booked parking period. The new parking start date can be up to twelve months after the originally booked date.
If the new parking option is more expensive, the price difference will be charged. No refund will be made in case of a cheaper rebooking, provided you paid in advance. If you chose the 'prepayment' option, your credit card will be charged with the difference. For the 'pay on departure' option, you will settle the full amount directly on-site as usual.
Prepayment (Online Payment):
Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the booked start time. Simply use the cancellation link in your booking confirmation. In this case, the amount already paid will be fully refunded. A refund is only possible if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the start of parking and no cancellation was excluded at the time of booking. A processing fee of 10 euros will be charged, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
Payment on-site (e.g., in the parking garage upon exit):
Here too, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start, using the cancellation link in the email. Since no prepayment has been made, there are no costs involved.
Important:
Cancellations are only possible via the link in your booking confirmation. Telephone or written cancellation requests cannot be processed.
After your online booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code (for the parking garage) or a voucher (for the parking lot).
Parking Garage:
Scan the QR code at the barrier, take the parking ticket, and the barrier will open.
Payment at the exit machine (cash, EC/credit card).
Parking Lot:
Show the confirmation upon entry, if necessary.
Place the voucher visibly on the windshield and follow the instructions.
ATTENTION! Phishing Warning: Recently, fraudsters have been attaching fake QR codes to payment machines, directing to online payment options. IMPORTANT: We do not attach such QR codes, and there is no online payment option—only payment via EC card, credit card, or cash. If you see a pasted QR code on one of our payment machines, do not use it and inform our on-site staff at the parking garage. Thank you!
At the PSD BANK DOME, a PARKITA staff member will be available to exchange your QR code for a parking ticket, or you can hold the QR code in front of the reader at the entrance barrier to automatically receive a parking ticket.
Exiting later than the exit time specified in the online booking is generally always possible. However, if you exceed the booked maximum parking duration, the next higher rate may apply. For example, if you booked for a maximum parking duration of 8 days but park for 9 days, the corresponding rate will be charged upon exit, and additional fees may apply.
Our shuttle service will safely take you to the terminal and, of course, pick you up again. The shuttle bus stop is located directly in front of the parking garage. The shuttle service is free of charge, and the travel time is 9 minutes. All passengers with a valid reservation confirmation will be transported by our shuttle service within the specified entry and exit times. Of course, all passengers of the last flight landing in Düsseldorf will also be picked up – no matter how late the flight lands.
The PARKITA shuttle bus stop at the airport is located on parking lot P12a, below parking garage P2. Follow the signs inside the terminal on the arrival level towards the "Sheraton Hotel" to exit "D." Exit the terminal via exit "D" and walk straight across the crosswalk. After the elevators, turn right (towards "Luggage Storage / Lost & Found"). Walk about 30 meters straight ahead (behind the barrier) until you reach the PARKITA display stand. You’ve made it!
No problem! Of course, we will transport all travelers. However, please make sure to specify the correct number of expected passengers when making the booking. This will help us with our planning.
In the minibuses used for the transfer, we provide child booster seats free of charge, which are approved for children weighing 15kg and above. Children weighing less than 15kg must be secured using an appropriate child safety system (baby carrier, child seat). This must be provided by the accompanying persons. The parking operator is not obligated to provide child seats.
Of course, we will transport your luggage with our shuttle bus from the parking garage to the terminal and back. This applies to the usual amount of luggage and the number of passengers specified during booking ("number of travelers").
The transport of oversized luggage (such as surfboards, bike cases, golf bags, etc.) cannot be guaranteed. Please drop off your oversized luggage at the oversized luggage counter in the terminal before parking.
If you are arriving from outside the city via the A52 and drive directly to the PSD BANK DOME, you do not need an environmental sticker. You can find more information about the environmental sticker and where to obtain one here.
Yes, our parking garage is largely monitored by video surveillance and checked by staff. Since you do not hand over your keys, your vehicle will of course remain exactly where you parked it.
All barrier systems and parking machines are equipped with a call button and intercom function. A staff member is available 24 hours a day to assist you with any questions. If your car won't start, please contact the parking service office. Our on-site team will be happy to provide you with a jump start.
With your customer account, you can easily view all your bookings at a glance. You have the option to modify or cancel them. Additionally, for future bookings, you no longer need to provide your personal details.
You can only create your personal customer account during the booking process. When you start a reservation request on our website, you will have the option in step 3 of the booking process ("Your Details") to create your customer account by clicking the relevant checkbox. It is not possible to create a customer account outside of a booking process.
Yes, you can easily delete your customer account at any time. Simply log in to your customer account and click on "Delete Customer Account."
