Please note that your selected parking start time must be at least 24 hours in the future (advance booking period = 24 hours) and your booking period must be at least 2 days. Please also note that you can book a car park with us up to a maximum of 12 months in advance.
Of course, you do not have to enter the car park at the exact time specified when you make your reservation, but in order to be able to plan our shuttle times optimally for you, we would ask you to enter the car park as close as possible to the time specified when you make your reservation. This will enable us to provide you with the best possible service.
No, you do not reserve a specific parking space. You reserve a general parking spot within the parking facility or lot you have chosen. We guarantee that a parking space will be available for you at the location you selected.
Yes, you will receive a confirmation e-mail including a QR code or voucher for entry.
Please check your spam folder in your mailbox first. The e-mail with the reservation confirmation may have been automatically moved to this folder. If this is not the case, please send an e-mail to service(at)parkita.de with the reservation number and the e-mail address you provided when booking. If you do not know your reservation number, please include your first and last name, booking period and the car park you have booked.
At our payment machines in the PSD Bank Dome, you can pay by credit card, Girocard or cash.
ATTENTION: Quishing warning: Recently, fraudsters have been increasingly attaching fake QR codes to payment machines that refer to an online payment option. IMPORTANT: We do not affix such QR codes and there is no online payment option, only by debit card, credit card or cash. If you see a QR code stuck to one of our payment machines, do not use it under any circumstances and let our staff in the car park know on site. Thank you very much!
Providing your flight numbers is a great advantage for our shuttle service. Your arrival times in particular help us to plan your shuttle accordingly. This allows us to optimise our service to your individual arrival time and reduce waiting times.
Without PARKITA customer account:
Your data will only be used to process your reservation and the parking process. We store this data for 80 days in case you have a complaint later. After the 80 days, your data will be anonymised.
With PARKITA customer account:
If you have a customer account, we store your data there for as long as the account exists. This allows you to view your bookings and change them if necessary. You can view and correct your data at any time. You can delete your customer account at any time.
Rebookings are free of charge once, provided they are made up to 24 hours before the booked parking period begins.
Use the rebooking link in your booking confirmation or go directly to the "Rebooking" portal on our website. Alternatively, you can easily rebook your reservation through your customer account.
Rebooking with Prepayment:
Rebookings are possible if parking spaces are available for the new desired date. If you rebook to a more expensive rate zone, the price difference will be charged. Refunds are not available for rebookings to a cheaper rate zone or in the event of a shortened stay. Rebookings to a different rate zone are only possible if the payment method ("Prepayment" or "Pay on Exit") remains the same.
Pay on Exit:
If you extend your stay or rebook to a more expensive rate zone, you will pay the parking fee upon exit according to the actual duration of your stay. Refunds are not available for rebookings to a cheaper rate zone.
Cancellation with Prepayment:
If you have paid in advance, you can cancel your reservation no later than 24 hours before the start of the booked parking period. Please send an email to service@parkita.de and be sure to include your reservation number, email address, and your full name (first and last name).
Please note:
In the event of a cancellation, the reservation fee is non-refundable. Additionally, a processing fee of €10 will be charged. The remaining balance of the parking fee will, of course, be refunded.
Pay on Exit:
Cancellations are possible up to 24 hours before the start of your booked parking period.
Use the cancellation link in your booking confirmation, or go directly to our website and visit the "Cancellation" portal. Alternatively, you can also manage and cancel your reservation easily through your customer account.
A reservation fee applies to every booking, which will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

A reservation fee is charged when booking. This fee includes the reservation of your parking space. It is charged with every booking and is non-refundable.
After your online booking, you will receive a reservation confirmation by email with a QR code (for the parking garage) or a voucher (for the parking lot), which you will need for entry.
Parking Garage:
Scan the QR code at the barrier, take the parking ticket – the barrier will open.
Please keep your parking ticket, as you will need it for payment at the pay station as well as for exiting the garage.
Parking Lot:
Please place the voucher clearly visible behind your windshield and follow the instructions printed on the voucher.
After your parking period has ended, you can simply leave the parking lot – no further action is required.

Exiting later than the time specified in your online booking is generally always possible. However, if you exceed the maximum booked parking duration, the next higher rate may apply.
For example, if you booked a maximum duration of 8 days but park for 9 days, the applicable rate for 9 days will be charged upon exit and may be recalculated accordingly.
Our shuttle service will take you safely to the terminal and pick you up again after your trip. The shuttle bus stop is located directly in front of the parking garage. The shuttle service is free of charge and the travel time is approximately 9 minutes.
All passengers with a valid reservation confirmation will be transported by our individual shuttle bus service within the booked entry and exit times. Naturally, all passengers from the last flight landing in Düsseldorf will still be picked up—no matter how late the flight arrives.
The PARKITA shuttle bus stop at the airport is located at parking lot P12a, beneath parking garage P2.
Inside the terminal, on the arrivals level, follow the signs to "Hotel Sheraton" until you reach exit "D".
Leave the terminal through exit "D" and walk straight ahead across the pedestrian crossing.
After passing the elevators, turn right immediately (in the direction of "Baggage Storage / Lost & Found").
Now walk straight ahead for about 30 meters (past the barrier) until you reach the PARKITA sign.

No problem! Of course, we transport all travelers. However, please make sure to provide the correct number of expected travelers when booking. This helps us with planning.
In the minibuses we use for transfer, we provide child booster seats free of charge, which are approved for children weighing 15 kg and above. Children weighing less than 15 kg must be secured with an appropriate safety system (infant carrier, child seat) suitable for their weight. This must be provided by the accompanying persons.
We will of course transport your luggage from the car park to the terminal and back again in our shuttle bus. This applies to the usual extent and for the number of persons specified at the time of booking (‘number of travellers’).
The transport of bulky baggage (e.g. surfboards, bicycle cases, golf bags, etc.) cannot be guaranteed. Please hand in your bulky baggage at the bulky baggage counter in the terminal before parking.
If you are coming from outside the city area via the A52 and drive directly to the PSD BANK DOME, you do not need an environmental sticker. Further information about the environmental sticker and how to obtain it can be found here.
Your vehicle is safely stored with us. It is parked in a covered parking garage, except for the top floor. Our facility is under video surveillance, and staff are present on-site around the clock. You keep your vehicle key – no unauthorized person can move your car.
With your customer account, you can easily view all your bookings at a glance. You have the option to modify or cancel them. Additionally, when making another booking, you no longer need to enter your personal information.
You can only create your personal customer account during a reservation process. When you start a reservation request on our website, you have the option to create your customer account in step 3 of the reservation process ("Your Details") by checking the relevant checkbox. It is not possible to create a customer account outside of a reservation process. After creating the account, you will receive an activation email to confirm your customer account.
Yes, you can easily delete your customer account at any time. To do so, log in to your account and click on "Delete Customer Account."
